On February 13–14, 2026, over 300 McKnight Fellows and professors will gather in Tampa for our 2026 McKnight Annual Fellows Meeting and Research & Writing Conference. We invite you and your school or business to participate as an exhibitor and faculty recruiter at the Conference.
Founded in 1984, the McKnight Doctoral Fellowship Program now supports record numbers of students with innovative practices designed to help fully develop their skills and expertise. The Annual Fellows Meeting is one of several touchpoints in a year-round support system that includes online workshops and individual editing services. These efforts contribute to the development of scholars who are among the brightest in the nation, highly motivated and prepared to meet the divergent needs of communities, academia, and industry.
This year, we are especially mindful of the myriad challenges facing universities nationwide. From shifting policy constraints to significant funding uncertainties, institutions are navigating a complex and often unpredictable landscape. In this environment, the McKnight Annual Fellows Meeting remains a vital space for connection, recruitment, and affirmation of academic excellence. We invite institutions to join us in Tampa to engage with a vibrant community of scholars whose research and lived experiences reflect the full breadth of our nation’s talent, and to help sustain the pipeline of future faculty and innovators.
At the Conference, we plan to feature a “Dialogue with Exhibitors” dinner, where each exhibitor may make a short presentation about job openings and the advantages of working and living in their University community. If recruiter participation levels do not support the dinner format, we will still ensure that all registered exhibitors have the opportunity to deliver a brief presentation to Fellows during a plenary session. Other compelling benefits of this recruitment opportunity include:
To receive these benefits, visit our website and complete the Exhibitor Registration Form here, indicating your preferred participation level. Please note, of the three levels described on the form, Plan B includes the most opportunities to interact with Doctoral Fellows.
The Conference program will be available closer to the time of the Meeting. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Katelyn Sengsoulya at (813) 272-2772 or ksengsoulya@fefonline.org .
We look forward to welcoming you to Tampa.
